Very well written. I'm one of those to whom you didn't blurt out a reply to "how are ya doing?. You must have done so to Dan. He told me the basic condition and the solution you dicided on. I also experience this choice when so many people ask me how I'm doing - or - how Dan is doing. It occured to me that I have two friends in Reno who visited Turkey last summer and one has been back since then and is considering moving there. She is looking at possibility of working there & has some ideas & inquiriies bubbling about that. I'd be glad to put you in touch with them if you'd like. Although they didn't visit there for the same kind of reason you are, they can give you some local info about being there.
